Overview

The 100km and 50km races start from the center of Yamanaka Onsen, and the 20km race starts at Ishikawa Prefectural Forest, which is about 30 minutes by shuttle bus from Yamanaka Onsen. The features of the 100km course are steep mountain trails, relaxing single tracks along mountain streams, and scenic ridgeline paths, etc., which is probably a perfect course location. The 50km course is characterized by an evocative course where the road continues for a while after crossing one mountain on the trail at the beginning, and a mountain course comes in the second half. The 20 km course is centered around low-slope mountains and forest roads, making it easy for beginners to participate, making it perfect for aiming to finish. At the end of all 3 races, they finish at “Kakusenkei,” one of the central distinct’s leading tourist attractions, and Kikunoyu, which is a landmark hot springs of Yamanaka Onsen from “Yuge Kaido,” the main street of the hot spring town.
