ENTRY CONDITIONS Registration Period Registration is open to all runners, regardless of UTMB Index status, until March 31, 2026 at 23:59 (Tokyo time, GMT+9) or until all race slots are sold out.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS

EVENT MAIN VENUE: Yamanaka Onsen, Yamanaka-zaLink

ATHLETE CHECK-IN: View check-in locations and times in the event schedule. Please ensure that you check-in within the specified dates and time for your category each (100K, 50K, 20K). Check-in submitted outside the designated period or different categories' time flame will not be accepted. You will need to provide photo ID (preferably a driver's license or passport).

Elite Runners Criteria
We will accept your registration based on your UTMB Index by the end of Mar 2026, no matter if the slots are already full.

Expectation to the Elite Runners
We expect Special Elite and free entry elite runners to show up at the press conference and our revive support event before the race day to make our event more excited. Details will be shared to the applied runners.

Entry closes as soon as the capacity is full on a first-come, first-served basis. All time and date are based on GMT+9.

Holders of a valid UTMB Index will have 48-hour priority access to a limited allocation of entries, starting on 25 Nov 2025.

Priority registration gives UTMB Index Holders first access and the best chance to secure their spot at the start line!

HOW TO ACCESS PRIORITY REGISTRATION

For UTMB Index holders, to ensure you have a smooth registration process here’s a few tips:

• Ensure you have set-up your My UTMB Account. It’s free and simple do here: https://utmb.world/my-utmb/my-dashboard
• During registration for Kaga Spa Trail Endurance 100 by UTMB, enter your first name, last name, and date of birth exactly the way it appears in your My UTMB Account – the system will recognize your details and allow you to progress your registration.
• There is only a limited allocation of priority registrations available for UTMB Index holders, and they may sell out before 48hrs is up – first come, first served! If you miss out, please try again when general registrations open.
• The priority entry link for UTMB Index holders will be available by clicking enter now on the website. Only runners with a valid index will be able to access registration.

If you aren’t eligible for priority registration, you can register from 27 Nov 2025 when General Entries go on sale.

Transfer of Registration Registrations are valid only for the registered individual and cannot be deferred to the following year. However, transfers to another person or changes in race distance may be permitted if space is available, and a handling fee will apply. Please contact the race office for details.

Cancellation Policy

If you registered with cancellation protection, you may receive a refund up until the race start, excluding any third-party options. If you registered without cancellation protection, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
