MANDATORY GEARS

In order to ensure their security and the good progress of the each race, each athlete must have all the mandatory gear on the list, detailed below.

Notes for All Categories

Athletes will be required to carry a set of mandatory gear throughout their race. Basically, we are following the UTMB Global guidelines.

The course passes through remote trails, where protection from the elements and medical/support services could be some time/distance from athletes needing assistance. It is therefore imperative that the mandatory gear is carried at all times.
Other than the mandatory gears, please bring any other equipment you may need such as Portable toilet, Warm clothes, Beanie, Gloves, Compass, Map, Sunscreen, etc.
Use of poles not carried from start of race or abandonment of poles during the race will subject athlete to 1 hour penalty.
