4 months to Go with the food and drink supplies at aid stations
We are now just four months to the first UTMB World Series in Japan, Kaga Spa Endurance 100 by UTMB.
I hope all of you are training and preparing well.
We are looking forward to seeing many brand booths and food trucks in and around Yamanaka-za, the main venue of the event, which will be able to provide a great opportunity for runners from all over the world to communicate with each other.
In addition, some of our volunteer staff have recently attended the Red Cross first-aid provider training course, and are working hard to prepare for their duties with a sense of urgency.
We have published a list of the drinks and refreshments that will be served at the aid stations on the Runner's Guide page.
We look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Yamanaka Onsen in June.

Ancient Mountains
Yamanaka Onsen in Ishikawa Prefecture has a history of 1,300 years since its opening. The mountains at Yamanaka Onsen are the stage for the races. It consists of Kanan Sanzan (Mt. Fuji Shagatake, Mount Dainichi, and Mount Kurakake) with a series of majestic local mountains With a course layout, fresh green primeval beech forests, mountain trails along mountain streams, Steep climbs, etc. will stir up the fighting spirit of tournament players.
1,300 Years Old Heritage Hot Springs
Yamanaka Onsen is a hot spring resort with a history of 1,300 years.
Matsuo, Basho, who visited on the way to “Oku no Hosomichi,” also really liked it, and wrote the poem “Yamanaka and chrysanthemums smell like hand-folded hot water” (you can live a long time just by soaking in this bath).
Hot springs are smooth, and local people use them, so you can also experience unadorned humanity.
Soyu is called Kikunoyu, and the men's bath and women's bath are separate buildings and are built next to each other.
